I have to admit I expected fake but this adapter feels and seems to be genuine! It's in perfect physical condition, no scratches or wear and from a quick test seems to work fine with my Google Chromecast for TV - ethernet included. I wish the USB lead was detachable but that also goes for the original Google adapter. The adapter feels decent of quality and the USB lead too.
